Han Edu Tech, a Korean Education company, announced on the 8th that membership for its global service platform, MetaKorea, launched earlier this year, is expected to surpass 10,000 users this month. Amid rising demand for Korean language learning and growing global interest in K-content, MetaKorea is rapidly establishing itself as an integrated platform that connects Korean language education with Korean culture.

MetaKorea is a comprehensive global platform offering Korean language mock exams, automatic subtitle translation for K-content videos, metaverse-based virtual classrooms and communities, and Korea-related news translated into multiple languages. More than a simple learning app, the platform is designed as a digital ecosystem that integrates education, communication, and cultural content.

Han Edu Tech has placed particular emphasis on operating community and educational services through its metaverse platform. The company has introduced virtual classrooms for overseas learners studying Korean, creating an interactive learning environment that enables real-time communication without the limitations of time or location. Ongoing collaborations with domestic universities further enhance the platform’s academic credibility and practical value.

Recently, Han Edu Tech signed a memorandum of understanding with Global Cyber University to provide university-level educational services for international students. In addition, the company was selected as a participant in the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency’s overseas expansion program (Pre-GBC), serving as a base company in Beijing, China. Through these initiatives, Han Edu Tech is actively introducing both its Occupational Korean Test (OK-TEST) and the MetaKorea language education platform to domestic and international markets.
