British brand Planit (Korea's official importer, Sion Global) announced that it has signed an MOU with Hanumul, a Korean water purifier manufacturer, to introduce fresh espresso coffee to consumers.
Hanumul is a domestic company that has been developing only water purifiers for 35 years. Planit is a British brand that celebrates its 2nd anniversary since launching a coffee machine.

An official from Planit said, “We have to take water to make delicious coffee. When using the Planit Home Café Machine with weak alkaline water instead of connecting the existing water supply or adding water from ordinary water purifier, it was confirmed that the coffee could be extracted more smoothly and it would taste good due to the richness of crema. For this reason, we signed an MOU with Hanumul, a water purifier company."

Under this MOU, Planit decided to provide Hanumul's weak alkaline water 'Nachurum' to customers. In addition, both companies' websites will simultaneously sell coffee and water-related products. In particular, Planit website will also offer a handy French press product that can serve traditional Korean tea and a subscription service for Hanumul ‘Nachurum’.

Meanwhile, Hanumul, established in 1985, is a well-known company that manufactures 'Hanumul Water Purifier' that meets US FDA standards, and the water purifier has been registered as a medical device. The Hanumul water purifier is an electrolysis water purifier that provides weak alkaline water rather than strong alkaline water. This weak alkaline water contains minerals. Minerals can be divided into organic and inorganic minerals. Organic minerals are synthesized in the body, so there is no need to consume them separately, but inorganic minerals such as calcium, phosphorus, potassium, and magnesium are not synthesized in the body, so they must be consumed separately. If they are contained in water, they can be absorbed more quickly.

Hanumul water purifier uses double electrolysis technology to filter out harmful substances and protect inorganic minerals. In addition, since the particle size of the water is composed of clusters that are significantly smaller than ordinary water, it can be absorbed smoothly and quickly.
