Korean cosmetics manufacturer CROWNCOS has launched a new eyelash serum under its proprietary cosmetics brand, Bagel, signaling its entry into the functional eye-care market.
CROWNCOS is a cosmetics company whose name is inspired by the “crown,” a symbol of imperial authority and elegance. The company operates under a core principle of never compromising product quality for the sake of design changes or cost reduction. Centered around its Bagel brand, CROWNCOS continues to strengthen its market presence by consistently introducing products that emphasize both functionality and stability.
The newly launched Bagel Eyelash Serum by CROWNCOS was developed to intensively care for eyelashes that are easily damaged by false lashes, mascara, and frequent eye makeup. One of its key features is the minimization of purified water, replacing it with houttuynia cordata extract to maximize the efficiency of active ingredients.
Houttuynia cordata is widely know for its soothing and skin-conditioning properties, and special attention was given to formulation design to ensure safe use around the sensitive eye area.
Going beyond simple nutrient supplementation, CROWNCOS applied a differentiated ingredient combination that takes into account the underlying causes of eyelash loss.
The company made no compromises in raw material investment, selecting ingredients based on efficacy, and applied a larger volume compared to competing products to enhance consumer satisfaction. Supported by these strengths, the eyelash serum is currently sold in more than 60% of professional beauty shops across Korea.
In addition to its eyelash serum, a Korean cosmetics manufacturer CROWNCOS offers a range of highly recognized products in the Korean market, including mascaras that create a coating effect upon application and feminine hygiene products. Looking ahead, the company plans to expand its portfolio to include basic skincare lines as well as everyday beauty products such as shampoos and foam cleansers.
CROWNCOS is also actively pursuing global market expansion. A company representative stated, “We are in the final stages of obtaining not only China’s CFDA hygiene approval but also Europe’s CPNP registration,” adding, “Based on these achievements, we are preparing to begin full-scale exports of our branded products.”
The representative further noted, “We plan to enhance brand awareness by sponsoring a beauty program on China’s Hunan TV, and to establish distributors throughout China with Shanghai as our central hub, enabling full-scale distribution and sales.”
