Advance Solution (CEO Chae Doo-hyun), which operates a factory at the Shinil IT Uto Knowledge Industry Center and has a corporate-affiliated research center in Ansan, unveiled a heat sink with new technology. A heat sink is a type of heat exchanger that has a material and structure specialized in the conduction and radiation of heat. It is a cooling device that takes heat from a heat-generating system and releases it to the surroundings. It is mainly used for high-powered lighting, computer systems, network equipment, and research.

Advance Solution has applied for a patent for a heat sink and a heat sink manufacturing method in 2021 used for heat sink manufacturing. It is to provide a manufacturing method in which the surface area for heat dissipation can be maximized by firmly fixing the radiating fins even when the length of the radiating fins is increased and the distance between the radiating fins is narrowed.

According to the technology, the work of fixing the corresponding heat dissipation fins to the mounting grooves formed in the heat sink base can be simultaneously performed, thereby increasing the productivity of the heat sink. In addition, it is possible to manufacture a heat sink with the desired performance and size without a mold, providing a custom-made heat sink at a reasonable price.
