AMMEDICS, a Korean biomaterials company, to join the January 2023 Korea-United Arab Emirates (UAE) Economic Forum, announced that they had signed a contract with a local buyer in the UAE.

Established in 2019, AMMEDICS is a Korean biomaterials specialist that researches and develops biomaterial peptides through biotechnology-based R&D and applies them to manufacture medical devices and cosmetics, including skin booster fillers and dermal fillers.

An official from AMMEDICS said, “Since the Middle East market is very interested in K-beauty, we could also be looking for an opportunity to challenge ourselves,” and upon receiving an email informing them of registration in the Korea-UAE economic forum, he stated, “I was confident that if our products were introduced to the Middle East market, there would definitely be a positive response, so I thought, ‘We must go!’ and applied,” he said, explaining the reason for his participation in the economic forum.

The economic forum, which included AMMEDICS, accompanied South Korean President Yoon Sukyeol during his overseas visit in January 2023, was held in the United Arab Emirates and discussed ways to cooperate between companies of the two countries through various events, such as the Korea-UAE Business Forum, and the signing of an economic cooperation MOU in the United Arab Emirates, created opportunities to discuss and build networks.
