Cleanbio, a Korean eco-friendly product manufacturer, participated in the Korea International Medical & Hospital Equipment Show (KIMES) held at COEX in Seoul. KIMES, established in 1980, is Korea's largest exhibition for medical devices and hospital equipment and has contributed to the advancement of the Korean medical industry, evolving into a globally renowned medical exhibition.
Cleanbio, a Korean eco-friendly product manufacturer, highlighted its flagship product, the Air-Fit air purifier sterilizer, at this exhibition. Air-Fit utilizes photocatalyst and LED technologies to remove harmful airborne substances and effectively sterilize bacteria and viruses. Designed for multi-use facilities, the product purifies contaminated air in shared spaces, removing airborne viruses, bacteria, and dust to protect users from potential sources of infection and pollutants.
A representative from Cleanbio explained, “The silver-infused photocatalyst reacts to light or UV rays, generating reactive oxygen species and free radicals. The UV rays emitted by UV LEDs destroy the DNA or RNA of airborne bacteria and viruses, providing sterilization effects. The antiviral filter, co-developed by Cleanbio, a Korean eco-friendly product manufacturer, and a filter company, can independently sterilize viruses such as the coronavirus and H1N1 flu (RNA virus).”
Established in 2005, Cleanbio is a Korean eco-friendly product manufacturer that researches and develops various environmentally friendly products. Its main products include air purifier sterilizers, and the company is also engaged in eco-friendly bio projects, developing and producing animal repellents and feed additives.
Air-Fit, Cleanbio's air purifier sterilizer, integrates patented technologies and technology transferred from the Korea Photonics Technology Institute. The product can sterilize everything from bacteria to viruses and is available in both freestanding and wall-mounted models, suitable for installation in hospitals, schools, libraries, museums, and more. Air-Fit, a testament to Cleanbio’s technological capabilities, is currently supplied to the Korean Public Procurement Service and exported to Taiwan, Japan, and Mongolia.
Cleanbio, a Korean eco-friendly product manufacturer, is driven by the belief that "innovation is the key to survival." The company plans to expand its global presence by targeting Europe, Japan, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Middle Eastern countries with environmentally friendly and innovative products.
