Ntrium, a Korea nanofusion materials technology company, was selected as a ‘K-Unicorn Rising Star’ hosted by Korea Venture Investment. Korea Venture Investment is a global fund management that supports key capabilities necessary for venture companies,
such as investment, promotion, and mentoring, through the ‘K-Unicorn Rising Star’ program. Through this program, Ntrium received support as part of a project to foster and support promising venture companies.
Ntrium, a Korea nanofusion materials technology company, is developing electromagnetic wave shielding solutions based on nano convergence material technology. Ntrium possesses the world's only technology capable of responding to all types of electromagnetic interference problems occurring in semiconductors, regardless of low and high frequencies.
In recent years, Ntrium has been steadily systemizing and upgrading these technologies, demonstrating unrivaled technological prowess. In particular, with the growth of industries such as 5G (5th generation mobile communication) and self-driving cars, it is attracting attention in the industry as an essential material technology that will lead the digital revolution, and is in close cooperation with major domestic and foreign companies.
Recently, Ntrium, a Korean nano convergence material technology company, developed a new antiviral material, ‘Navisol’, by utilizing the nanomaterial technology accumulated. Navisol is a new material with proven antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal properties, and has the function of killing the virus when it comes into contact with the COVID-19 virus.
Using the patented ‘Navisolizing’ technology, we have developed a technology that adds anti-viral effects to the product itself by including Navisol when manufacturing plastics or textile yarns.
These technologies can be applied to quarantine plastic and textile products in the era of virus pandemics, and various forms of collaboration are already in progress. In addition, ‘Navisol coating tissue’, ‘Navisol antibacterial film’, and ‘Navisol coating pump’ have been developed for general consumers.
In particular, Ntrium's 'Navisol antibacterial film' has received performance certification from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and is gaining high trust from customers.
Ntrium CEO Se-young Jeong said, “Our business goal is to add value beyond safety to the world. “We will make efforts to expand the commercialization of semiconductor electromagnetic wave shielding technology in the electronic materials field and antiviral new material technology in the biomaterial field, while also doing our best to commercialize new materials in the ESG field such as eco-friendly energy,” he said.
