Established in 1993, MIRAE E&I, a Korean sensor processing manufacturer, has built a strong foundation in factory automation and signal processing technologies. Over the years, the company has diversified its portfolio into renewable energy, offering solutions such as solar photovoltaic junction boxes, power plant monitoring systems, and installation services. Additionally, MIRAE E&I has demonstrated innovation in developing water circulation devices for algae bloom prevention and electronic vehicle components, reflecting its commitment to sustainable growth and market expansion.

At ENVEX 2024, MIRAE E&I, a Korean sensor processing manufacturer unveiled its groundbreaking algae removal vessel, a small boat-shaped device that operates by circulating through designated water areas to intake and discharge water repetitively. Equipped with an internal screen filter and superior maneuverability, the vessel effectively removes algae with a remarkable efficiency rate of 99%.

Also featured at the event was MIRAE E&I’s water circulation device, powered by a 150Wh BLDC motor, capable of processing 2,200 tons of water per hour. This innovative solution aims to prevent algae formation at its source. In addition, the company showcased a debris removal system capable of reducing the habitation of larvae in potable water sources by up to 90%, further emphasizing its diverse range of proven water quality improvement technologies.

A representative from MIRAE E&I, a Korean sensor processing manufacturer, stated, “Our algae removal vessel, developed in collaboration with Korea Water Resources Corporation, is currently operational in Daechung Dam, the Nakdong River, and the Han River. Additionally, the water circulation device has been deployed at key reservoirs, demonstrating its capabilities.” The representative added, “In 2019, we completed performance testing of the water circulation device in Hanoi, Vietnam, and we are now in the process of commercializing the product for the local market.”

Building on its success in Vietnam, MIRAE E&I is eyeing further expansion into Southeast Asia. “We are planning to extend sales to countries such as Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia,” the spokesperson revealed. “These regions possess vast water resources and are expected to have a high demand for eco-friendly water management solutions. We believe our energy-efficient products will garner significant interest.”

ENVEX 2024 is South Korea’s premier exhibition for environmental technology and carbon neutrality solutions, organized by leading institutions such as the Korea Environmental Preservation Association, Korea Water Resources Corporation, and Korea Environment Corporation. This year’s exhibition showcased a wide array of technologies across water, air, waste, and measurement analysis, alongside advancements in carbon capture, eco-friendly vehicles, hydrogen, solar, and wind energy to address carbon neutrality challenges.
