Sangsang E-biz, a startup investment accelerator, announced on the 24th that it has made a total seed investment of 350 million won in Rosetatech and Autoworks.

Rosetatech has found in 2015, is a company that develops and supplies monitoring systems using IIoT. The company’s main business is monitoring systems such as smart factory, healthcare, and fire.

Rosetatech is a company of software, firmware, and hardware engineers. It achieved 4 billion won in sales in three years after taking the first step in firefighting. The background that has been able to grow for a short period is the experience and know-how accumulated in the fields of information technology (IT), information and communication technology (ICT), and Internet of Things (IoT).

Young-jin Cho, CEO of Rosetatech, participated as a founding member of 'Jung Soft', which develops system software in 1993, and gained related knowledge and experience by working as a representative of the American subsidiary of 'Jung Soft' in Silicon Valley, USA. After about 10 years of activities, he founded Rosetatech with his former colleagues back from Jung Soft.

In addition, Rosetatech received a special award at the Korea Safety Awards last year and received a performance certification for breaking automatic materials at the Korea Fire Industry Technology Institute in 2014. It has 5 related patents and has been recognized for its technology by installing it in public institutions, traditional markets, movie theaters, and nursing hospitals.

Rosetatech plans to invest heavily in upgrading wireless systems in the future. It plans to implement a technology that enables data to be transmitted and monitored from a distance using sensors required for smart factories, smart farms, and smart city sites.

CEO Cho said, “We are currently exporting to Australia, UAE, India, Vietnam, and Thailand, and we plan to enter the US and European markets in the near future.”
