The KOSME smart factory long-term advanced training course is a free program designed to foster specialized smart factory personnel. It includes online education on overall smart factory operations and management, as well as hands-on training using six smart factory learning centers operated by KOSME. Additionally, the program dispatches smart factory experts to corporate sites to identify issues and allows trainees to lead on-site projects aimed at addressing and improving those issues.

Korea Aluminium began implementing a smart factory system to integrate information and communication technology (ICT) and convergence technology into its manufacturing process to enhance productivity and employee work efficiency. By participating in KOSME's smart factory training, the company successfully improved overall equipment efficiency through data analysis for each process and achieved cost reduction in manufacturing. Korea Aluminium, a Korean aluminium packaging company, analyzed data and developed solutions over a one-year and eight-month period, resulting in an 80% increase in operating time, a 30% reduction in losses, and a 134% growth in sales, directly contributing to the company's revenue improvement.
