Korean fire sprinkler system manufacturer Kwang Woon, which produces fire sprinkler heads, water hammer absorbers, and flexible joints for sprinklers, has announced that it is expanding its overseas exports in earnest.

Kwang Woon has led domestic sales by establishing a domestic sales system with more than 300 dealerships nationwide and is now focusing on expanding overseas sales. Analyzing that the growth of overseas exports, the development of control valves, and the increase in sales of firefighting products will play a synergistic effect, Kwang Woon plans to actively explore overseas markets by participating in overseas exhibitions such as Vietnam and Dubai by utilizing export support funds from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.

Meanwhile, fire sprinkler system manufacturer Kwang Woon has attracted attention for its innovative product development. Existing sprinkler products had problems with slow head opening or vulnerability to external shocks due to poor operation of the support ring, but Kwang Woon developed a new sprinkler product to solve these problems.

In the event of a fire, Kwang Woon's sprinkler products help to extinguish the initial fire by opening the drain quickly and accurately, and prevent malfunctions by preventing leakage of extinguishing water until the fuse is fully melted, and by having an external shock absorption structure to prevent malfunctions. The products are also earthquake-resistant and can be used for a long time, making them highly reliable, according to Kwang Woon officials.

The sprinkler and fire pipe binding device developed by fire sprinkler system manufacturer Kwang Woon won the grand prize and silver prize, respectively, at the 2020 Seoul International Invention Exhibition, proving that the company has excellent technology and innovation. As such, Kwang Woon is laying the foundation for a new leap forward through the development of innovative products in the firefighting field, and much is expected of its future growth.
