It is a flame-retardant mattress applied with a new material 'Maximum Safety Padding' developed two years ago, and it does not burn well and is naturally extinguished even if it catches fire. As a result of the mattress combustion test conducted with the Disaster Prevention Research Institute affiliated with the Korea Fire Insurance Association, the flame-retardant mattress of Simmons bed spontaneously extinguished after 1 minute and did not burn easily. On the other hand, the regular mattress was engulfed in a big flame for about 4 to 7 minutes.
