MICELLCMC® is a water-soluble additive by replacing the hydroxy group (-OH) of cellulose with a hydrophilic sodium carboxymethyl group (-CH2COONa). It is hygroscopic similar to water-soluble polymers in general. The average number of carboxymethyl groups substituted for an anhydroglucose unit is called Degree of Substitution (DS). When DS is 0.4 or more, CMC having DS of 0.6 ~ 1.3 is most widely used . We are producing MICELLCMC by refining and processing these CMCs in accordance with the applicable specifications according to the application.
